Fund Transfer is now very easy and convenient with connectIPS

Now you can do fund transfer up to Rs.500 for FREE from various channels including fund transfers initiated from bank & financial institution’s Mobile Banking using connectIPS & NEPALPAY Instant option, connectIPS web & mobile app, and Cash In/Out in mobile wallets of PSPs. This is applicable from 1st April, 2025.

This initiative by NCHL promotes digital transactions, especially for low-value ones. RPS (Retail Payment Switch), part of NPS, enables real-time transaction services for member BFIs, PSPs/PSOs, and other entities via open APIs.

How to initiate fund transfer from connectIPS?

  • Login into connectips.com or its mobile app using your Username and Password
  • Choose Fund Transfer option
  • Select the required option: Bank account / Own account / NEPALPAY Instant / Favorite account
  • Select the debiting account and enter receiver details and click on Transfer
  • Recheck the details and click on "Make Payment"
  • Use the Transaction Password and/or OTP received in registered mobile number and e-mail
  • Click on Submit to complete the fund transfer

How to initiate fund transfer from Mobile Banking via connectIPS?

  • Login to your mobile banking app
  • Go to Send Money → select Other Bank → click on "using connectIPS"
  • Select the Network/Bank under receiver details
  • Fill in the details and click on Submit

    • (User can select NEPALPAY Instant option as well for the ones enabled with NEPALPAY Instant to make fund transfer using recipient’s mobile number)

How to load wallet via connectIPS?

  • Login into connectips.com or its mobile app
  • Select NEPALPAY Instant under Fund Transfer and then select Wallet
  • Select your debiting account and add beneficiary details
  • Proceed further to complete the transfer

How to load wallet using connectIPS via wallet app?

  • Login into the wallet app using your Username and Password
  • Click on Add Money → select connectIPS
  • Enter amount and click Add Money
  • Enter your connectIPS credentials and captcha
  • Select debiting account and click Submit
  • Enter OTP to complete the transaction

Terms & Conditions:

  • The FREE Fund Transfer is applicable for transactions up to Rs.500 starting from 1st April, 2025 (19th Chaitra, 2081).
  • It is applicable via connectIPS web/app, mobile banking through connectIPS, NEPALPAY Instant, and Cash In/Out in mobile wallets via NCHL.
